1. cloudy skies at Prospect Point, Vancouver.

  2. bixi bikes on Parliament Hill, Ottawa.

I remember discussing bixi bike infrastructure in class last term and how the system has tons of inequalities associated with it and is really not as great as it’s advertised to be. even as a recreational/tourist amenity, I think it’s pretty pricey and the rule about sticking your bike in a station every half hour (to avoid extra charges) is beyond ridiculous. at least make it an hour! anyway, my advice is if you ever take a bixi bike trip, make sure you know where all the stations are before heading out and plan accordingly!

bixi bikes aside, I biked an unnecessary extra 5km today because I forgot my lock. I also scraped and bruised my leg on the pedal on the way home :(

  3. looking up at some of Ottawa’s landmark buildings. :)

  4. Denali National Park, Park Road.

the only road running through the park.

  5. this dude…

  6. taking pictures out of a car sunroof? BLAAAAAAARGH THE EPIC WINDS! felt like my face (and my crazy long hair) was gonna fly off! not really sure if it was worth the photo, haha.

  7. if only that beam of sunlight was hitting Parliament instead of the Chateau…

  8. red ferris wheel, Chicago.

  9. typical Alaskan views from the water.

I probably have over a thousand photos like these and they all look exactly the same, yet I can’t bring myself to delete any of them. I’m a photo hoarder :(

    the flurry of vacation pictures is cause I’m cleaning out my SD card so that my parents will have ample space to take pictures when they go to the #1 place I want to visit in the world… without me ;______;

  10. love this photo. the little trees are the best.

  11. in need of a new wallpaper…. this one doesn’t feel winter-y enough but it’ll have to do for now.

  12. Ottawa City Hall.

taken exactly 3 months ago on September 2. where I’ve spent the majority of the last 3 months. where did all the time go?!

  13. Alaska.

I set this as my desktop wallpaper (cropped from the original to match my widescreen) and it looks surreal, like an anime background or something.

  14. craaaaaaazy reflections!

  15. so majestic. it really never gets old. plus, I got to go up to the top on a gorgeous day Saturday!
